A couple of nuns up the ante

Uncategorized

After the two archbishops placed their bets on the outcome of the World Series, a couple of nuns struck up a friendly rivalry through Facebook. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “Sister Sheila O’Neill, who spent more than two decades at Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis County as a math teacher and later principal, bet the school’s current president, Sister Barbara Thomas, that the Red Sox would prevail.”

The bet is Ted Drewes frozen custard if the Red Sox win, and Frank Pepe’s pizza, if the Cardinals win.

What are you betting?
