By Al (not verified) on Tuesday, June 23, 2009Interesting(and unfortunate) perspective from the professor. I would think that the most important thing a child should learn is the story of the Founding Fathers and the democratic republic they founded and how their religion (from a catholic point of view) fits in to that so that they will become both good Catholics and good citizens of this great country. I would also prefer to learn about the many great achievements that have been made in this country not what Wilson "learned from his failures". But then Boston Univ needs to relearn a few things also.
