Have a few thousand dollars to spend? Then, you might want to buy a handwritten Bible.

This one wasn't transcribed by monk in the days before the Gutenberg Press. It was transcribed by ordinary Americans. Bible Across America [1] is a project taken on by evangelical publisher Zondervan. Two copies were made, and now Zondervan is auctioning one off on ebay [2] of for Biblica [3] (formerly the International Bible Society).

"After a nine-month cross country tour covering 22,579 miles, 90 cities and 40 states, more than 31,000 people had a hand in writing Bible Across America," according to the ebay page. Right now bidding is at $6,600.

Of course if you don't have that money to spend you wait to buy a copy for $100 [3].
