Every year, people who work or volunteer in social ministry in their diocese and parish gather in Washington, D.C. to learn about the bishops' policy priorities, lobby their Congress people, and get inspiration for their work back home. The 2010 Catholic Social Ministry Gathering is being held February 7-10 this year, with wrap-around meetings the weekend before.
