My parish offers ample opportunities for adult religious education

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Thank you for taking the time to take this month's poll.

In this month's Sounding Board survey, John J. Donovan argues for an investment in religious education not just for the kids, but also for parishs' oldest members.

Nay, the Diocese of

Nay, the Diocese of Rochester doth suck suckier than thine.

My Diocese Sucks

I'm in the Archdiocese of Miami and this diocese sucks when it comes to adult education programs or vocation promotions, etc.
It's basically the once a year 6 week RCIA which is Micky Mouse at best and maybe once or twice a year some silly seminar on the enneagram and centering prayer.
It's so pathetic it's disgusting. I'm told by other friends in other dioceses that their situation is pretty much the same.
