This Sunday we celebrate not only our Father in heaven but our fathers on earth. (Don't forget to buy a card!) Jesus taught us to address God as Abba, which means our dads can teach us a lot about God, whether for good or bad. Though her father initially pushed her away from God the Father, Mary Cleary Kiely writes in an essay, she eventually learned from him what it means to be God for others.
