Stations on the go

There's an app for that, too.

Ave Maria Press has released its first app for the iPhone, a digital stations of the cross. Times were you had to actually "walk" to the stations; now you can walk with them!

The big question here is whether this free app is going to be worth it for Ave Maria--the $64,000 question for smaller publishers who are developing mobile apps--Loyola Press among them, with its 3-minute retreat iPhone app.

Wonder if Steve Jobs knew he would revolutionize spirituality. I'm expecting the confessional app any moment.
