New research suggests that fast food could contribute to Alzheimer's Disease.
What I find of note here is what is completely unnoted, that greasy elephant in the take-out lane. What’s the central ‘food’ here: low-cost hamburger meat generated who knows where by who knows how. It seems to me that many symptoms and brain effects of mad cow disease (and its human variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob syndrome) bear nauseating parallels with Alzheimer’s. When will the food industry come clean on this one? How long did it take big tobacco to admit that cigs cause cancer? I can’t remember . . .
Hey look. I’m not the only fast food conspiracy crazy out there . . .
