The great (dog) debate

This series of pictures were obviously made on a church sign generator, but they are nonetheless funny. It's not often you see this tool used to create a conversation between two churches. I'm glad the Catholic church is on the side of the dogs...and rocks!

Snopes.com (a helpful site that disproves those false e-mails that get passed around) includes the signs as well as some information about the real debate about animals going to heaven.

Searching for this e-mail on line, I also came across the Crummy Church Signs blog, for some real (I imagine) silly messages.

The Dog Signs are Cute, but, alas, fake

Snopes indicates this cute drama was created on a Churh sign making website. Clever, but let's not be too hard on the Presbyterians, since they didn't do it.

dogs go to heaven

What about cats, Cats were made to make us humble, since dogs adored us, by God. I know I have two and they sure can humble you!

Dogs & Heaven

Dogs DO go to Heaven! The secret is, they can't get in w/o their owners - they hafta wait in the meadow on THIS side of the Bridge. When they see their human coming, they just go nuts! Y'all know what I mean - they darn near knock you over, they're so glad to see you, & now they can get into Heaven along w/their people.
How can God not love dogs enuf to let them into heaven when He named them after Himself?
Y'all Presbyterians are just BIG dummies, & if y'all DO go to Heaven, won'tcha miss your besr friends?
