Need to have a daily prayer plan
By jim mcgovern (not verified) on Saturday, February 26, 2011If you have a daily prayer plan then you won't feel alone in your struggles ... Jesus will be with you. Need to meditate, to go beyond words, to experience Jesus in your life. comeaside.com can help you.
So long as you share our ideas...
By Anonymous (not verified) on Thursday, April 8, 2010As a traditional Catholic, I have never felt welcomed in a run-of-the-mill liberalised Parish. Indeed I have been driven out.
It very much appears that the "all are welcome" idea has an unspoken codacil: "So long as you are progressive and liberal."
Appalling. Which is why I have refused to vote in this poll.
A comparison of Catholics and Protestants
By babyching (not verified) on Thursday, March 18, 2010It depends on what you mean by "welcoming". Protestant churches are much more aggressive in recruiting new members, but I prefer the Catholic approach.
Protestant churches seek new faces out and smother them. Catholic churches let people see what it's all about with no pressure. I appreciate the Catholic way.
Welcoming
By Anonymous (not verified) on Friday, March 19, 2010I agree wholeheartedly with babyching -- the Catholic church is very welcoming without pressuring or smothering, and I prefer that approach as well. In fact, it has a lot to do with why I have remained.
